This implies that the game was revived, yet additionally made starting from the earliest stage with current equipment stages. Full form of Resident Evil 2 Remake PC Download is prepared to download utilizing PC Installer, the program will download and introduce the full form of the game at the greatest speed of your web association.
As we previously told, Resident Evil 2 is a redo of the Resident Evil 2 computer game. In contrast to its unique series, the change consolidates new components in its ongoing interaction like tank control, unchangeable camera points, a third individual over shoulder story, which can likewise be found in its succeeding spin-offs. In the redo variant of Resident Evil 2, players get a choice to enter the game as either Leon S.
Kennedy or Claire Redfield. She is the sister of the first hero of this series, Chris Redfield. I then tried out the PC version, as it can display nicely on modern screens, but the PC version has a lot of issues going on with it.
Their WFP was great, but there was still a lot of things that could be improved upon for the game. Given my intimate knowledge of the title, I'd submit tickets for other problem areas in the game.
As the scope of these fixes and enhancements grew, so did the number of people who became involved. As time went on, the gamut of our work would eventually grow beyond a "widrescreen fix" into its own thing more fittingly known as the Enhanced Edition.
I decided to make a widescreen fix for the game with the help of another modder named ThirteenAG. We also made one for Silent Hill 3 around the same time. They included some improvements, like the features from the SH2Proxy mod, but not much else. That was all I wanted to do and I was happy with the results. It wasn't until Ratiocinator and a few other people got in contact with me that I became aware of the various problems the PC version had: A sluggish camera, double-sided flashlight, and broken cutscenes, just to name a few.
Normally I wouldn't have cared that much, but the PC version was the only way I could experience Silent Hill 2 at the time. I didn't have access to a PlayStation 2, emulation was not a possibility for me, and the Silent Hill HD Collection was a well-known disaster.
I had all the motivation I needed to get involved. The problem was that I wasn't much of a programmer. I know that sounds surprising to some people, as my abilities are often overestimated. So, while I could fix some of the problems that were reported, I couldn't fix all of the problems.
I believe Elisha's involvement was what truly jump-started the entire project. He was one of the reasons we were able to port the PS2 audio to PC. With his help we were able to solve many problems that we couldn't before.
This in turn attracted more people, and the project snowballed into what it is now. Bigmanjapan: Upon the PC version's release, there were multiple minor attempts at enhancing the game, predominantly made by programmers who were into commercial pirating which involved cracking copy protections and making translations for unsupported languages. Those were very basic tweaks — i.
It turned out I could be useful in fixing other issues as well, and became a regular on the Enhanced Edition team from there. Windows 7 had some compatibility issues, but most games still worked. But starting with Windows 8 and then Windows 10, many of these older games no longer worked.
Since Windows 10 looked like it would be here for the long term, I began a personal quest to see if I could get all of my older games working on this operating system. This led me to a number of useful, relevant tools, including an open source program called d3d8to9 , which converts DirectX 8 games to DirectX 9 to make them more compatible with newer operating systems, and it does a pretty good job of it.
However, one of my games had some graphical glitches with this tool. Since d3d8to9 was open source, I decided to see if I could address the glitches and submit my changes back to the project. I had never really worked with DirectX before, but ultimately, I was able to fix the problems. This got me to see if I could fix other issues for games with d3d8to9. All in all, I put in over 50 fixes for the project.
It was this d3d8to9 project that got me involved in the Silent Hill 2 community. The PC version of Silent Hill 2 uses DirectX 8 and Ratiocinator, before I knew him, opened a ticket on the d3d8to9 issues page explaining some problems the game had when using this project. I took it upon myself to see if I could address these concerns. After fixing these issues, Ratiocinator asked me for additional help with items specific to Silent Hill 2 PC, which I did.
One of the first big issues he requested help with was being able to modify the sound files. I looked at all these tools and decided to see if I could merge them into a single package. Not only was I able to merge these tools into a single package, I was also able to add many new, additional fixes and updates along the way.
Examples include a fix to allow high fidelity sound, high resolution textures, custom game mods, window mode options, and a no-CD patch, among others. Not to say that I am doing all the work, though. Trevor 0 point. Hello guys I have a quick fix on this. FunkyMonkey 0 point. So I keep getting the the end of set up and it says please insert disk one at the end i select disk one, and it crashes :.

I was able to play SH3 from this same website, but I forgot how I managed to do when I ran into the same exact issues, lol. Is there a way out of this? Vini 2 points. I had the same problem some people have mentioned with the "unable to save game" message.
You can solve it this way: - open the game directory, then right-click on the sh2pc. There you have it! The game runsfine had no problem installing but you need to download the enhanced edition mod to get the game running on windows Bluebird 3 points. Just in case anybody who sees this doesn't know about it, make sure you install the SH2 Enhanced Edition mods with this. It's slightly time-consuming but easy to set up, and significantly improves the PC version of the game in a million ways.
Mojo Pin 4 points. Posting what I did so maybe I can help some of you. None of them worked. My game was still crashing when I tried to open a door.
Somehow I learnt that there was supposed to be a cutscene there, and my game couldn't play it. I checked the game files, and the "movies" folder was lacking most of the. There was only credits. So I took a look at the. And it now works perfectly.
TL;DR: Your game files might be lacking the cutscenes or movies, whatever they're called , find them. Note: I have the Enchanced Edition installed, I don't know if it has something to do with this problem though. Ham Slammo 0 point. I am also having an issue with saving. Whenever I try to save on the first save point it says 'Game Save Damaged' and tells me to delete it, which I keep doing - but there isn't actually a way to save.
Kind of pointless to go through all this just to find that I can't save. This is an emotionally-draining, hour game that I am absolutely not going to play all in one sitting; can anybody help? I found sh2pc on the crack file and copied it but I still don't know where to find the game directory and Local Disk in the files? I'm having the insert CD 1 problem but when I found the crack folder in the game files nothing was there, i copied it anyways but I don't know where to find the game directory, can anyone help me?
KD 2 points. Just to let you guys know I encountered an unable to save game problem this might also happen to others. Is there a tutorial video on how to install this?
I'm really unfamiliar with this process and am having a really difficult time. Kachigga 12 points. Okay, for those of you struggling with the Insert Disc 1 issue after installing the game, I have found the solution! It took a while, but is not all that difficult. So, I'd recommend WinCDEmu for mounting, and you'll need to mount disc 1 of silent hill 2 whenever you want to play.
You'll also need to go to the Iso folder, the CD1 folder, and then the 'crack' folder, where you should see an application called sh2pc. Copy this file and then go to Local Disk, then Program Files x86 , then Konami, and you should see the content for silent hill, unless you've saved your installed files elsewhere.
You should see another application also called sh2pc. Replace this application with the one you copied from the crack folder, check disc 1 is mounted and silent hill 2 should launch! W55 1 point. I'm not sure of the need for alternative install methods present in the comments.

Augustraj 0 point. So I got it working, but I ran into an issue, and was wondering if you all had a fix.
I managed to get the game working, and I beat it and unlocked the extras mode. However, I found that whenever I leave the game and enter it again, all of the extra features are missing, and if I try to load a save with them on the game crashes. Is there a fix? Cleveland Steamer 2 points. Works pretty good. The ingame save system however does not function on my end. Quicksave and Quickload work tho. Khep Gallard 7 points.
I installed everything correctly and it worked, but I have a problem: when I run the game it says that there was an error while saving data. IDK if I missed a file or something but that message keep appeareing even if I try to save changes in the options menu.
Skeletor 1 point. Having seriuous problems getting the installer to run on Windows 7 64bit OS. I get the installer moving and it stalls at "removing applications".
What the hell does it have to remove exactly? Thanks for the share. The Silent Hill 3's theme was so good, that I'd figure I'd play it again. W55 1 point. Using Windows 10, I installed the downloaded game without external programs, following the provided instructions and it just works.
Once installed be sure to launch the game file 'sh3. Kerrigam 1 point. You can get the No-DVD at gamecopyworld. For those who absolutely don't know how to work this, I'll tell you how to do it step-by-step. First off, get a certain software called PowerISO just google it. You probably already have this because it's used for a lot of other "stuff".
There's prolly other software that works the same like this one, but I use this one and it works. After you do that, open the ISO with PowerISO and extract it to whichever folder you like doesn't matter where cause you'll be deleting it soon. Don't do it before I tell you to. Search that folder for a something called "setup.
Execute it aka left click it twice. A wizard will appear, and as usual, agree to everything. Note that for some reason, when the wizard ask you where to install the game, and if you click the browse option, it'll crash. Just let the wizard do the works. Once the wizard has done his job, don't open the 'sh3.
